Then look no further than The Quayside – a superb, freshwater lake set in idyllic surroundings of 80 acres with the added bonus of a waterfront pub! This will be something completely different, as we offer water sports, which are fun and entertaining for everyone, an innovative and memorable way to treat customers or employees to a great day away.

The water sports on offer include waterskiing, wakeboarding (like snowboarding but on water) and the inflatable ringo’s. All water activity is undertaken under the supervision of fully qualified instructors who ensure even the less water confident amongst you enjoy the experience under safe and controlled conditions. No prior experience is necessary for any of the activities, even waterskiing or wakeboarding, so if you’ve always wanted to give it a try then we can put a package together for you to include beginner lessons. There may even be experienced skiers within your group who could benefit from a lesson by our highly qualified instructors who will help them hone their technique. With our straight-line cable system it means we have an alternative way of learning now as well, and can be used simultaneously with the boat so there is so much more for you to do whilst you’re here!

Facilities and Equipment
• All necessary equipment is provided for you including wetsuits, life jackets and safety helmets.
• Individual Ladies and Men’s changing rooms with hot showers are available located within the main building.
• The Quays Carvery is right next-door complete with outdoor seating area.
• Outdoor BBQ and picnic tables.
• The clubs own lakeside jetty where you can sit relax and watch the fun!
• On-site surf shop.

Arrival time
We would advise that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of your party to give everyone time to get changed and ready to go out.

What you need to bring
• A completed attached ‘Disclaimer Form’
• Swimsuit / Shorts
• Towel
• Light shoes ie. Flipflops or sandals
• Hairband – Anyone with long hair will be more comfortable with their hair tied back
