UK WAKEBOARD NATIONALS – RESULTS!!!

A sunny and warm weekend awaited all the riders and spectators here at Quayside Wake and Ski, hosting the UK Wakeboard and Wakeskate Nationals 2009. On the water the black Mastercraft X2 was loaded up with onboard ballast plus fatsacs, ready to chuck out a massive wake for the competing riders.
Year on year the standard of riding just seems to increase and 2009 was no exception. The increasing wind for the Open Ladies and Pro Men appeared to widen the field slightly but impressive runs were laid down by the athletes enabling the judges to score the passes.

In the 2 headline divisions of Pro Men and Open Ladies the title winners were Nick Davies and Charlotte Bryant respectively. Congratulations to them and all the other title winners and competitors for stepping up and competing at the UK Nationals 2009.
